Feeding film and paper can result in multiple sheets being fed into press at once due to electrostatic attraction between the media. In addition the electrostatic charges on the media can result in sheet alignment problems due to the media sticking to the bed of the in feed. This application can be found on Adast, Bobst, Fugi, Heidleberg, Komori, Mitsubishi, Nebiolo, Planeta, Roland and Ryobi presses.
Introducing ionised air using Meech 261 ionising nozzles between the sheets being fed will allow the sheets to moved freely, preventing press jams and alignment issues.
