A free, 24-page page colour booklet entitled “Static Electricity: Causes and Cures” is now available in the Downloads section of the Meech International website at www.meech.com. The booklet has been written by specialists at Meech who have pioneered many new and innovative static control solutions for a wide range of industrial applications.

Perfect Spot Cooling with the Meech Vortex Tube

Stainless steel vortex tubes from Meech Air Technology are ideal for all spot cooling applications. The tubes convert compressed air into two airflows, one extremely cold and one extremely hot. With no moving parts, they have produced temperatures as low as -60ºC and as high as 110 ºC; Meech Vortex tubes can also maintain temperatures at ± 0.6ºC. As well as spot cooling applications, they work well for foodstuff and extrusion cooling, as well as plastic slitting applications where the cutting wheels can work at top speed and stay sharper for longer.

New Static Locator Launched by Meech International

Meech International is pleased to announce the launch of the new 983v2 Static Locator, a lightweight pocket-sized device that provides an accurate measurement of static electrical charges over a wide range of voltages. This new locator has been developed for use by production, maintenance, inspection and quality engineers and its innovative design means that it is suitable for use on any material where static is an issue.

Meech International Shows Strength in Static Control at Drupa 2008

Meech International will be showing a range of static control solutions on stand 10/E52-3 at Drupa 2008, Dusseldorf, Germany 29th May – 11th June. Meech’s JetStream Air Knife System Dries Extruded Foam Like No Other

Engineers at Meech International enjoy solving challenging drying applications. When they were approached by a manufacturer of extruded polystyrene foam insulation boards, they were told that every system tried so far had failed to solve their particular problem. What they needed was a powerful and effective drying system that could completely remove water from the insulation boards before they were sent to the trimming/cutting machine.

Meech Launches New Static Control Products at Inaugural ICE China 2008

Meech International will be showing its new Model 992v3 Static Generator and Model 983v2 Static Locator amongst a host of other static control solutions on stand 1-G09 at ICE China, 16 - 18 January 2008 at Shanghai Expo Mart. Other products from Meech include the 915 Shockless AC bar and 976 Long Range DC bar, ionising air blowers, ionising air curtains, guns and nozzles. Also on the stand will be the Meech Web Cleaning System and the Model 986 Feedback system, an innovative and unique closed loop system for automatically controlling the problems of static in converting process applications.
