Meech air curtains are used in many applications including removing water from bottles, cans, glass or metal, part cleaning before painting, creating an “air wall” between processes and for cleaning/cooling conveyors and conveyed parts.  As well as reduced noise and compressed air usage, other advantages include low initial and operating costs and the avoidance of electrical or explosion hazard.

The Air Curtain releases a very small amount of compressed air at high speed through a 0.0508mm slot along its entire length.  This high-speed sheet of air entrains a large volume of surrounding air and effectively amplifies the compressed air flow up to 25 times.  The Meech aluminium Air Curtains are available in lengths between 80 and 1800mm.  Stainless steel units are also available and are ideal for corrosive or hazardous environments and perform identically to the aluminium units.
